Co je TOTA?
TOTA je mezinárodní radioamatérský program, který propojuje vysílání z rozhleden, vyhlídkových a historických věží. Cílem je ukázat krásu technických a kulturních památek, motivovat radioamatéry k aktivitám v terénu a umožnit lovcům sbírat jedinečné spojení s aktivátory z věží.

Program OK TOTA vychází z dlouhodobého projektu České rozhledny. Zatímco rozhledny.eu obsahuje databázi věží, logy a diplomy, stránka oktota.eu představuje koncept TOTA mezinárodní komunitě.
Co jsou rozhledny?
Rozhledny (v angličtině lookout towers) jsou vyhlídkové stavby určené k turistice, orientaci v krajině nebo i jako součást hradů a technických objektů. V České republice jich je více než 500 a každá má svůj příběh. 👉 Za rozhlednu může být považována také vyhlídka s umělou konstrukcí – například plošina, lávka nebo ochoz, pokud jejím hlavním účelem je rozhled do okolí.
Jak funguje referenční číslo (REF)?
Každá rozhledna má unikátní kód ve formátu XXR-0000:
- XX = kód země (OK, OE, DL, SP, OM…)
- R = písmeno R znamená „toweR“
- 0000 = čtyřmístné číslo (např. první dvě čísla 17 = kraj, poslední dvě pořadí v kraji)

What are towers (lookout towers)?
Towers are observation structures used for tourism, orientation, or as parts of castles and technical buildings. In the Czech Republic there are more than 500, each with its own story. 👉 A viewpoint with an artificial observation structure – such as a platform, walkway or gallery – can also be considered a tower, if its main purpose is to provide a view of the surroundings.
How does the reference number (REF) work?
Each tower has a unique code in the format XXR-0000:
- XX = country code (OK, OE, DL, SP, OM…)
- R = the letter R means "toweR"
- 0000 = four digits (e.g. first two = region, last two = order number)

Türme sind Aussichtsbauten für Tourismus, Orientierung oder als Teile von Burgen und technischen Anlagen. In Tschechien gibt es über 500 solcher Bauwerke. 👉 Auch Aussichtspunkte mit künstlichen Konstruktionen – wie Plattformen, Stege oder Galerien – können als Turm gelten, wenn sie in erster Linie der Aussicht dienen.
